Staples Inc., a Framingham-based retailer of office supplies, said that Grammy winning singer-songwriter Ciara (above) put in an appearance at a Staples/Do Something 101 event.

Its Do Something campaign seeks to encourage teens to devote some of their summer to volunteering and contributing supplies that benefit students in need, Staples said
